Twitter gives us 140 characters with hash tags (e.g., # yes, these little things) and bitly url shortners. It’s a beautiful thing for all of us to get our message out to the masses without deafening one’s earlobe with really boring diatribe. Sometimes we’re not aware of how boring we can be sometimes. Just take a listen to yourself after you’ve recorded a webinar or a training video and decide for yourself, “would I listen to this person?”
With Twitter you don’t have to think about them listening to you all that much because you can include that boring training video or webinar you made in a bitly and VOILA that unsuspecting A.D.D. prospect will click on the shortened URL and is now listening to you!
